Born (1977) and raised in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico; Victor Manuel Anguiano Heredia, one of 6 boys, began painting at the early age of nine. Growing up Victor attended El Instituto Cultural Cabanas in Guadalajara, “as a painter I feel that one is never done learning because a painting is always a reflection of one’s moment in life”.

In 2009 letting go of all fears Victor decided to pursue his passion for painting full-time and has never looked back. Inspiration for his paintings comes from the vibrant colors in the city of Tlatepalque (pronounced T-la-keh-pah-keh) meaning “best of everything”. A Village full of artisans absorbed in their work painting, sculpting, and creating traditional ceramics; Surrounded by an environment with giant Sycamore trees, cobble-stoned walkways, magnificent and unique archways, there’s no lack of inspiration.

“The liberty I feel painting, is an expression of all my emotions. Painting each color, releases a sense of joy allowing me to express my thoughts without limits. I paint with passion and vibrant colors to captivate the emotions we sometimes lock inside our self’s, as we get caught up in the fast-paced world, we live in. With each painting, my goal is to capture someone’s attention to “Stop and smell the Roses” as the saying goes”.
